Omara, The Forgotten Princess – By David Lungu

I’m so excited for my friend David Lungu who will be releasing his debut novel Omara, the Forgotten Princes in September! I’m sooo looking forward to reading this book because I know for a fact that it’s gonna be just as thrilling and entertaining as the other stories from him I’ve had the privilege of reading in the past.

Omara is a free-spirited young virtuous Zulu woman with a thirst for adventure. Her unorthodox escapades unwittingly earn her the wrath of the people of Nanintenga, a bountiful land of nature’s beauty and resources. To most, Omara is a mere child full of mischief and disregard for tradition and customs that govern and shape the way of life of the Nanintengas. Her refusal to be bound by the laws that limit her status as a woman in the chiefdom leads her on a path paved with trials and tribulation. Omara faces her challenges courageously and emerges on the other side with a refined purpose and a throne to claim.

And this is only the beginning.
